Is your business ready, compatible and safe for AI? Find out, free.
This is where every AUUSI engagement starts, and it replaces the discovery call. It looks at three separate things, because they fail for different reasons: is the business ready (an owner, skills, time), is a specific process compatible (the data, the software, how many exceptions it has), and is it safe under current Australian privacy, security and industry rules. You get a free written summary with one clear verdict, and can unlock the full report for $20.
- In-depth, about 30 minutes
- Free summary and verdict
- Full report, $20

AI Clarity Engine
Is the business ready for AI, is a process compatible, and is it safe?
Role Redesign Engine
What could AI take off one job, what stays human? For employers and employees. Go to the Role Redesign Engine.
Before you start
- Answer for the business as it is today, not as you would like it to be. Honest answers, including "not sure", give a more useful report.
- You will pick one or two real tasks to look at closely. Have one in mind, even roughly.
- You will be asked for your name and email at the end, so we can send your free summary and follow up on it if you ask us to. There is no account, and nothing to pay unless you choose to unlock the full report.
- Please do not type client names or other personal information into the free-text boxes.
We kept your earlier answers on this device so you can carry on where you left off.
How it works
What makes this different from a quick quiz
Most AI readiness quizzes ask how you feel about AI. This one asks for facts where a fact exists: how many hours a task takes, how many exceptions it has, whether backups have actually been restored, who holds the admin logins. Answers like that count for more than an opinion in the scoring, because self-assessment surveys are known to inflate on opinion questions far more than on fact questions.
It also looks at three separate things, because a business can fail on any one of them independently: whether the organisation is ready, whether a specific process is compatible with AI or automation, and whether it is currently safe under privacy, security and any industry-specific rules. A business can be enthusiastic and organised (ready) while the one process they have in mind is a poor fit (not compatible), or the other way around.
What you answer, and what happens to it
You move through a series of short steps: a few facts about your business, where your time goes, one or two real processes looked at closely, your data, your tools and technology, how AI is used today, the privacy and security questions that actually apply to you, 30 short readiness statements, and your goals and budget. At the end you give your name, business name and email, and choose whether we may follow up.
Your report is built in your browser as soon as you finish. When you ask for it, your answers are also sent to AUUSI, so we can email you a copy and follow up on it if you asked us to. We use them for that and nothing else. There is no mailing list and no sales sequence. While you fill in the form, your answers are kept in this tab's temporary storage on your device so a refresh does not lose them. Your contact details are not kept there, and the draft is cleared when your report is built.
The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, as on the rest of AUUSI. See the privacy note for how we handle your details.
What is free, and what is in the $20 full report
Free, no payment details needed:
- One overall verdict: Ready to pilot, Ready after fixes, or Groundwork first. There is no "not a fit" verdict: even Groundwork first always comes with reasons and a first step, never a plain no.
- A score out of 100 for seven areas: Purpose & opportunity, Process fit, Data, Systems & technology, Governance, risk & law, People, ownership & change, and Capacity & pilot readiness.
- A verdict on each process you named: a strong candidate to automate, AI-assisted with a person reviewing every output, or not suitable yet, with the reason.
- Every safety "fix first" item in full: specific things (for example, no tested backups, or no one person accountable) that hold the result back whatever else scores well. These are never behind the paywall.
- A confidence rating, lower where you answered "not sure" a lot, and a note on any answers that did not quite agree with each other.
The full report unlocks for $20, once:
- Every flagged workflow, ranked, with how AI helps each one, what a person must keep checking, and how to measure it.
- Your full technology review.
- The complete risk and rules for your business, your sector and the information you handle, based on Australian law and security guidance as at the date shown on the report.
- A 90-day order of work, and how your budget lines up with the options.
You can copy, download as a text file, or print or save as a PDF whichever you have: the free summary, or the full report once unlocked. A copy of your free summary is emailed to you either way.
How the score works
Each area is scored out of 100 from the relevant answers. A fact-based answer (a number, a name, an artefact such as "yes, tested") counts twice as much as an opinion answer, because facts are harder to inflate than feelings. Some answers are "gates": whatever else scores well in that area, a gate holds it at Gap and is listed as a fix-first item. Examples: no tested backups, no MFA, more than 30 percent exceptions in a process, or nobody able to say who controls your systems.
Ready to pilot needs no open gates anywhere, at least one process rated suitable, and an overall score of 75 or more. Groundwork first applies when a privacy or security gate is open, when neither named process is suitable yet, or when the overall score is under 35. Everything in between is Ready after fixes.
This is a self-assessment from your own answers. It is a structured way to see where your business stands, not an audit, and it does not predict savings or results.
Is there anything to pay?
The check itself is free, and we never ask for payment details to see your verdict, your scores or any safety issue. The free summary is complete enough to act on. If you want the full detail, workflow by workflow, with the technology and risk review and a 90-day plan, that is a one-off $20 unlock, paid by card through Stripe.
If you want us to do the work instead, the full report shows AUUSI's fixed prices, and you can ask for a quote at the end. Those paid stages are the AI Readiness Report, the Team AI Session, an Implementation Sprint and Ongoing AI Ops. AUUSI is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged on any of them, including the $20 unlock.
Is the report advice I can rely on?
No. It is general information produced from the answers you gave. It is not legal, privacy, financial, tax, employment or other professional advice, it is not a compliance or security audit, and it cannot see inside your business. The privacy, security and sector content is current as at the date shown on your report and changes often. Check anything that matters with a suitably qualified professional before you rely on it.
How is this different from the Role Redesign Engine?
The AI Clarity Engine looks at the whole business, in depth, and asks whether it is ready, whether a process is compatible, and whether it is safe. The Role Redesign Engine looks at a single job, for an employer examining a role or an employee examining their own, and shows which tasks could move to AI, which stay human and which are done together. They answer different questions, and many businesses will want both.
Looking at one job instead? Redesign a role as an employer or see how AI fits your own job.
