The five stages, in that order, on purpose
Most consultants audit a business before the owner has the AI literacy to describe their own problems. We ask and teach first, so the report that follows is grounded in your reality, not our guess.
| Stage | What it is | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Advisory | The free AI Clarity Engine asks what a discovery call would, then gives you a written report on where AI genuinely helps your business, and where it’s a waste of money. | Free |
| 2. Upskill | A half-day, plain-English Team AI Session using your real work, for up to 10 people. | $1,800 |
| 3. Understand | The written AI Readiness Report: your 3–5 highest-value AI moves, sequenced and costed, with the risk and privacy view included. | $2,500 |
| 4. Systemise | A 2–4 week Implementation Sprint that builds one or two workflows from your roadmap. | $8,000–$24,000 |
| 5. Implement | Ongoing AI Ops: we keep it running, tune it and extend it. Cancel anytime. | $1,200–$4,000 / month |
Every price is fixed and agreed in writing before work starts. The free summary is enough to act on without us; the $20 full report adds the workflow-by-workflow detail. The paid stages below start when you ask us to fix what it finds.
Is this for you?
It probably is, if…
- You run a small business and suspect AI could give you hours back, but don’t know where to start.
- You want fixed prices and plain English.
- You want AI running inside your operations, not a course.
It probably isn’t, if…
- You want to learn AI for yourself rather than change how a business runs.
- Your admin is already clean, simple and low-volume.
- You need enterprise-scale transformation.
If your business isn’t ready for AI yet, the free summary says so and puts the groundwork first, before you’ve spent a dollar.
Free government support exists. Here’s when it fits.
The Australian Government funds AI Adopt Centres that offer free training courses, one-on-one consultations and roadmaps, technology demonstrations and AI safety guidance. Eligibility is limited to small and medium businesses that trade interstate or internationally in National Reconstruction Fund priority sectors: medical science, agriculture, enabling technologies, renewables and low-emissions technology, manufacturing, and forestry and fisheries. The same page points to the Safe AI Adoption Model, a free online hub of tools and practical resources for Australian SMEs.
If you’re eligible, start there. It costs nothing. Where we come in is business-specific work: designing, building and keeping running the workflows in your own business, and doing so for the many small businesses outside those sectors. Check current eligibility on the business.gov.au page before you decide.

Questions
Do I need to be technical?
No, and the order of the five stages exists precisely because you are not.
How is this different from an AI course?
A course ends with you knowing things. This ends with software running in your business. Teaching is one stage of five, and it exists to make the other four accurate.
How long before I see anything working?
The free summary is instant. The Upskill session is a half day. The written report is turned around in about a week from when we have your answers. An implementation sprint runs two to four weeks and ends with something live. So from first answers to a working workflow is usually four to six weeks.
Do you only work with Canberra businesses?
No. AUUSI is Canberra-based and works with small businesses across Australia. The sessions and sprints run just as well over video.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Retainers are monthly and you can cancel at the end of any month.
